Real Madrid midfielder feels great thanks to Guardiola
Real Madrid midfielder, Toni Kroos, felt his ability to grow rapidly since coached Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich. He considered the cold hand Guardiola has managed to help him out the best ability on the field.
Kroos is an original Munchen academy player. He was loaned to Bayer Leverkusen, before finally returning to Munich and reaching the treble in 2013.
He then worked together for a season with Guardiola. Although only briefly, but Kroos admitted much to learn from the figure of the Spanish coach.
“I will not underestimate my year under Pep Guardiola’s guidance, because I think I made a big step forward that year,” Kroos said as quoted by Soccerway.
“I saw my career gradually.Jupp Heynckes was the most important coach in the early stages of my career, both at Leverkusen and then in Munich, and Pep Guardiola saw me as a central player in his system, where my style of play suited him,” Kroos added.
Kroos then moved to Real Madrid in 2014. Together with Los Blancos, Kroos has won everything.
In just three years, he has won eight titles. Kroos has always been a top choice in midfield and has performed in 157 matches in all competitions.
